So, our bedroom curtains are quite pretty rustic cotton ones from IKEA. They do the job of looking, well, rustic, but fail miserably at the job of keeping light out.
On a random whim, I decided to buy some black-out fabric & sew it onto the curtains in the hope that we'll get at least a bit of sleep come Summer.
It sound stupid, but I had totally underestimated the sheer size of a curtain. I'm halfway through pinning the first one & I think this may take some time...
