Hexagon love

Although I have been crocheting for a while now, I have only recently discover the joy of granny squares. Even better, yesterday I made my first granny hexagon!

I impulsively bought some lively Robin DK yarn at the local craft store the other day & had the genius notion to make a hexagon Afghan.  It's not the nicest yarn to use - it's a little scratchy & splitty - but it is cheerful, so I am feeling quite chirpy making my way through these...
